On April 12, 2017, the lovely, Chris Schembra reached out to me on Linkedin with a message saying, a mutual friend had attended one of his dinner parties and that he thought we would benefit from being connected. I accepted his invitation to connect and in May, we hopped on the phone to connect further. In June, I attended one of Chris’s 747 Club Dinners and I was so impressed and moved by what Chris was offering at these dinners, that in July, I shot a documentary on Chris and the 100th anniversary dinner of The 747 club. In August, Chris asked me to help him with a Keynote that he would be presenting at The North Caroline Philanthropy Conference.
