How to Change How You Think About Change?
Today’s show is another in a series of bonus episodes each featuring one of the incredible talks given by my participants in The Big Talk Academy as a part of our Virtual Showcase. This showcase is the culmination of their hard work as they cross the finish line to become certified speakers.
These episodes give you a peek behind the scenes to witness the amazing Big Talks presented and also give you exclusive access to my live feedback and the direction I give to each speaker immediately following their performances.
This week’s episode features Odette Henry and her talk, Change How You Think About Change.
Odette is a passionate television Producer and Director. She’s also a journalist and an information seeker who believes the more we know about life, the greater our opportunity to empower, impact, and inspire change.
She’s the first of her siblings to attend university, loves continuous learning, and encourages perpetual curiosity. As a former beauty pageant winner, she is very much aware of society’s emphasis on our external qualities. Odette places emphasis on the heart and leads with love every day.
In this powerful and vulnerable talk, she shares her truth and the way we can use change for the good in our lives.
In this talk, she explores:
- The inevitability of change and how we see this in nature
- The seasons of change she experienced in her own life
- What happens when we manage difficult changes
- How to move past your fear of change
