This week’s episode features Dr. Kanchan Anand and her talk, Reclaim Your Inner Wellness in 60 Seconds.

Dr. Anand is a trained internist and nephrologist who practices in the Metro Washington area. She was awarded the Top Doctors Award five years in a row. She has also received the prestigious Most Compassionate Doctor Award. She is the Chair of the Ethics Committee at her hospital. 

Her passion for inner wellness for her colleagues and nurses led her to develop a relaxation technique called “My 60 Seconds”, which is now used across the health system. The “My 60 Seconds” technique has also found special mention at Cornell University under their Wellness Course. 

In this inspiring and informative talk, she takes us through her amazing journey during COVID and shares how the Power of 60 Seconds can reduce stress.

In her talk, she explores:

  • The need for a quick way to reduce stress and the birth of My 60 Seconds
  • The impact My 60 Seconds has had on stress levels and the 3 principles that this technique is based on
